Handmade furniture, doors, rugs and lighting, made for your home
Crafted Fashions is a Calgary, Alberta based business offering hand-carved wooden furniture and doors, handmade rugs and handcrafted brass lighting. Every product we sell is made in India by skilled artisans using traditional carving, weaving and metalworking techniques, and finished to suit modern homes. Most pieces are custom made to order.
What we make
- Hand-carved headboards and bed frames – solid wood pieces with intricate floral, mandala and traditional carvings, in a range of bed sizes.
- Hand-carved wooden doors – solid wood entrance, double, sliding barn and partition doors in natural teak, white and black finishes, made to order in custom sizes.
- Handmade rugs – hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs in wool, silk, jute and cotton: Persian, Bokhara, Heriz, Kashan, modern and round designs.
- Brass lighting – mid-century Sputnik chandeliers, pendants, ceiling lights and wall sconces in raw, antique and patina brass finishes.
All of our headboards, bed frames, doors, rugs and lights are made in India.
Custom made to order
Most pieces are made after you order, which means you can ask for a different size, finish, colour or height. Because they are handmade, small variations in the wood grain, weave or brass finish make every piece one of a kind. Production time depends on the item and any customizations – please contact us for the current timeline before you order. Once your piece is ready, we ship it with free express door-to-door delivery.
Built to fit where you live
Our lights are wired for your country: we fit US/Canada or UK/Europe sockets based on where your order is going, and use UL (US) or CE (Europe) certified electrical components.
